2024 Finals Qualifications
*All shows will be a 1 Header.
Each Event Must Have 5 or More Members For Awards to Be Received At Finals. All Junior events will
be of the age of 15 and under as of the first rodeo of the season.
Barrel Racers will be Females only in both junior and Open.
SERA National Finals:
•SERA Members Only will be allowed to compete at the finals
Members must compete in the finals to receive awards.
• Must Be a Member and Compete in 7 out of 10 shows (not including the finals) to be eligible for
finals.
• Money won prior to purchasing membership does Not count towards rodeo count for finals.
Must be in the top 10 Money Earners in the Open Events: Top 6 in the Jr Events.
SERA Year End Awards:
OPEN & JUNIOR EVENTS TOP MONEY WINNERS
1st Place: SERA Saddle/ Buckle/SERA Jacket
2nd Place: SERA Saddle Pad/Pendant/Jacket
3rd Place: SERA Jacket/ Tumbler
All Around Male and Female top money winners will receive a SERA Saddle.
SERA MEMOS: NO CHECKS – CASH ONLY. NO EXEPCTIONS – There will be no pay out of winnings without
identification. No fees will be refunded after stock and positions are drawn. No Ground Money.
Parent(s) or guardian must sign a minor’s release for 18 and under contestants. All Contestants must
wear western attire (button down shirts/hat/boots/back number).
There will be no misconduct in the rodeo arena at ANY TIME. All Fees, Prize Money, and Eligibility to
compete in other SERA rodeos and SERA finals can be forfeited for misconduct. No additional rodeos will
be added due to cancellations of scheduled rodeos for weather related conditions, only if the rodeo is
cancelled before the date the rodeo is scheduled. Members will be responsible for the required # of
rodeos for year-end finals. There will be no make-up or given rodeos. Only Female genders can compete
in any Female event. Before entering a junior event, a certified birth certificate is required before a
membership/day permit is purchased. If a Junior Contestant is eligible to compete in the junior events,
starting with the first rodeo, they will be allowed to compete in the junior events.
